H. Jeff Ward, O.D.
Specifically, Dr. Ward graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Phi Beta Kappa and with Departmental Honors from Northwestern University. He received his doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. There he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Beta Sigma Kappa (Honorary Society for Optometry). Finally, he completed a prestigious residency in Corneal Pathology & Contact Lenses at the New England College of Optometry. Some of his rotations included Harvard University's Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, The Scleral Lens Foundation, Cornea Consultants of Boston, and The New England Eye Institute. He received the Arthur R. Giroux Residency Research Award for his innovative dry eye research study.

Casie Headrick, O.D.
Dr. Headrick was born in Hutchinson, Kansas and raised in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. She studied Biology and Physical Science at the University of Central Arkansas, graduating and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. During her studies, she was a research aid for a neurologist and geneticist; as well as an active member in the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
It was her own optometrist during college that directed her into the specific field of eyes. Dr. Headrick attended the University of Missouri, St. Louis, College of Optometry. She was a member of the Missouri Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Student Association. During her studies she received an Academic Merit Scholarship and was placed on the Dean's List all four years. Dr. Headrick was also a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the National Optometric Honors Society and received excellent marks from the attending optometric physicians at her externship rotations. She is currently an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
As a new resident of Colorado, she enjoys hiking and and camping with her fiance in The Rocky Mountains and loves spending time with her family and pets.
Dean Bancroft, O.D.
Dr. Bancroft graduated from the University Of California Berkeley School Of Optometry. He also completed and Optometric residency at Nothereasten School of Optometry in conjunction with Brooke Army Medical Center in San Anotonio, Texas. Additionally, he has been awarded a Masters of Business Administration from Baruch College in New York City.
In 2014 Dr. Bancroft retired from the U.S. Army after serving 24 years. His numerous accolades include the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Expert Field Medical Badge and the Order of Military Medical Merit.
Dr. Bancroft is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a member of the American Optometric Association. He chose Colorado as home because of he family friendly community, the temperate climate and the array of outdoor activities.
Dr. Bancroft joined Highlands Ranch Optical in 2015 and is proud to be part of such a professional team.
